About Carmel Visual Arts

About Carmel Visual Arts

From August 2013 to August 2020, Carmel Visual Arts was located in the historic Barnyard Shopping Village in beautiful Carmel, California. Carmel Visual Arts is in a region known for attracting artists, photographers, writers, musicians, poets for over 100 years. Our intimate gallery and attached workshop spaces have been closed due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are working closely with art originations in Monterey County to maintain the goals of our mission; to offer art education in the region.

In 2021, Carmel Visual Arts will continue to host art and photography workshops on the Monterey Peninsula and beyond. Most of our upcoming schedule is for outdoor workshops. This will allow for the new pandemic social distancing requirements to easily be kept. Please expect that during all indoor and outdoor workshops, there will be new protocols in place to assure the safety of all concerned. These protocols will be updated as necessary.

Our Mission

Established to offer opportunities where art education, creation, and exhibition can be explored by artists and the community.
