● Panels: Debra strongly suggests using LINEN panels vs canvas panels. Linen is a much better-primed surface than canvas panels which draw the oil out of the paint. You will get much better end results with a linen panel. For workshops, please have 6×8, 8×10, and 11×14. A variety is good but smaller is best. 8×10 is ideal to get a great successful painting on location. Raymar, Multimedia, Fredrix, or New Traditions Art Panels. Debra uses #13 Claussen’s Linen Panels.
Other Supplies:
● Tissue (Debra prefers using ‘tissue with lotion’ from grocery for cleaning of brushes)
● Clorox wipes (for clean up of hands and palette)
● Panel Carrier of some kind. (Raymar panel carriers, Art Cocoon, PanelPak, -look online)
