Oil Paints

Old Holland is best. For Naples  Yellow Light and Raw Umber,  Michael Harding is preferred.

  • Genuine Naples Yellow Light
  • Yellow Ocher Deep
  • Red Ocher or Venetian Red
  • Cadmium Yellow Deep
  • Cadmium Yellow Light
  • Cadmium Red Light
  • Scheveningen Blue (Pthalo Blue)
  • Ultramarine Blue
  • Burnt Umber
  • Raw Umber
  • Ivory Black Extra
  • Cremnitz or Flake White
  • Alizarin Crimson

Mediums – Old Masters

  • Maroger
  • Flemish Maroger – PREFERED.

Brushes

  • Filberts Sizes 3, 5, 6, 7, 9
  • 1.5 or 2″ flat brush, natural bristle
    Robert Simmons Signet are best

Panels, Canvas

  • Sizes optional. 16×20 and under is  a good guideline. Lead-primed  linen canvas is best, and  InnerGlow Panels are very good.  Tone surface with neutral color and medium.

Miscellaneous

  • Palette Knife (long diamond shape)
  • Murphy Oil Soap (for cleaning Brushes)

This liquid soap is available at Wal-Mart, Target,  and many supermarkets. Do NOT get the un-concentrated kind.
